Why Activate. 

To process orders and receive payments made through X SELL, you will first need to activate your merchant account after signing up. Your X SELL links can be generated and payments can be made by your customers, but you will not receive your payments until activation.


How to activate.

To activate your account, you will have to fill and submit our KYC form (see below to download the form) and a signed copy of our merchant agreement (Contact us to get a copy of the agreement) along with the following documents-

  • If you are operating as an individual-
    • Copy of National Identity Card,Driving Licence or Passport
    • 6 months Bank Statement 
    • Sample invoice of prior business transactions.
    • Proof of residence (eg. utility bill)
    • Verification letter from land lord if you do not own the property of residence.
  • If you are operating as a sole proprietor or under a partnership-
    • Copy of National Identity Card,Driving Licence or Passport of Proprietor/Partners
    • Business Registration 
    • 3 months Company Bank Statement (Personal Bank statement acceptable if you are a Sole Proprietor)
  • If you are operating as a registered Company (Private Limited)-
    • Copies of National Identity Card, Driving Licence or Passport of two authorized signatory Directors
    • 3 months Company Bank statement
    • Form 01 (if registered after Companies act 2007) or Form 40  (if registered before Companies act 2007) 
    • Articles of association
    • Business Registration
    • Relevant operating licence/s where applicable.

 

You can send in soft copies of the above documents to info@webxpay.com to begin your activation process. Mention "XSELL Documentation" with your business name in the subject line. We will still require physical copies and may require to sight the original copies where necessary to completely activate your accounts. You can drop off the documents at our office during business hours (Weekdays, 8.30am to 5.30pm). Please contact us  to arrange an appointment.


Activation time

Once all documents have been submitted, your account will be activated within 48 hours.
